Trust & Safety

Trust & Safety at Clone13.

Clone13 exists to make car sales feel more human. Trust is the whole product — a customer trusting that the face and voice on the video belongs to the salesperson they're working with. These policies keep that trust intact.

Self-representation only

Clone13 is built for a salesperson to animate their own photo and voice. Cloning another person's likeness without their explicit consent is prohibited.

No deception

Generated videos are salesperson intros sent through dealership-branded channels. They must not be used to impersonate, defraud, or mislead recipients.

Reporting

Anyone who receives a Clone13 video they believe was created without consent can report it. We investigate and act on valid reports promptly.

Enforcement

Violations can result in content removal, account suspension, or termination of a dealership's access, depending on severity.

What we don't allow

  • ✕ Cloning a person's voice or face without their consent.
  • ✕ Using generated videos to impersonate a public figure, celebrity, or another real person.
  • ✕ Using Clone13 for fraud, scams, extortion, or harassment.
  • ✕ Generating content that is illegal, sexually explicit, or promotes violence.

Our commitment

Clone13 is a narrow-purpose tool: personal video intros for legitimate dealership sales communication. We design our product, policies, and enforcement around keeping it that way. When in doubt, we err on the side of protecting the people whose likenesses appear in our videos.
